This collaboration offered the rare opportunity to work within my own artistic voice while partnering with the exceptional teams at LBI Boyd Design Resources and Madd Dogg Studios. Together, the project was guided by artistic integrity, intention, and sincerity. Translating original artwork into large-scale formats creates a powerful moment—allowing designers to introduce truly one-of-a-kind beauty into the spaces they shape for others to experience. The shared entrepreneurial spirit behind this partnership signals a new era, where art becomes wallpaper and wallpaper is experienced as art.
JOan’s Approach
Joan Davis is a contemporary abstract artist whose work reflects a lifelong commitment to creativity, resilience, and the transformative power of color. Creating art while raising a family, Davis developed a disciplined studio practice rooted in intuition, balance, and emotional resonance—producing paintings that are both visually sophisticated and deeply human.
